Billecart-Salmon is located in the premier cru village of Mareuil-sur-Aÿ in Champagne. It was created in 1818 when Nicolas François Billecart and Elisabeth Salmon were married, their union marking the House’s birth.

Across seven generations, each member of the family has endeavoured to continue the family tradition, staying faithful to the same motto: ‘Give priority to quality, strive for excellence’.

On Thursday, March 7th, indulge in an evening of sophistication at Hampton Wine Co. as we warmly welcome the renowned House of Billecart-Salmon.

Established in 1818 as the result of the marriage of Nicolas François Billecart and Elisabeth Salmon, this famed Champagne house is located in the town of Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, east of Epernay. 

A small, family-owned house that always produces high-quality Champagne of great finesse, Billecart-Salmon is particularly renowned for the delicate style of its rosé, which accounts for one in every five bottles it sells.
